Job summary
Glanua in Ireland is seeking a Senior Process & Hydraulic Design Engineer to deliver water and wastewater infrastructure projects from concept through to commissioning. You will own robust engineering design solutions and coordinate with MEICA and other disciplines under the Design Lead.
You will mentor engineers, drive design quality, develop PFDs and P&IDs, perform hydraulic calculations, and liaise with clients to translate requirements into practical, buildable solutions across the project
Qualifications
- Degree in Chemical, Water/Wastewater, Environmental or Process Engineering.
- 7–12 years’ relevant experience in water/wastewater or process engineering.
- Chartered Engineer status desirable.
- Strong design, calculations, and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical design for water and wastewater processes from concept to commissioning.
- Coordinate MEICA interfaces across disciplines and with ACC/GSM teams.
- Develop PFDs, P&IDs, and control philosophies; ensure constructability.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead design reviews.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to resolve technical queries.
