Job summary

Uisce Éireann is seeking an Environmental Coordinator to support asset strategy, data management, and regulatory reporting. The role focuses on environmental policy compliance, data accuracy, and collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders on Water Action Plan 2024.

The role requires knowledge of catchment science, GIS, and data systems, with responsibilities spanning data tracking, reporting, and cross-team coordination within the Asset Management area.

Qualifications

• Relevant third level qualification or accreditation in environmental science or related field.
• Experience in water, utilities or similar industries desirable.
• Knowledge of catchment science and environmental issues.
• Ability to analyse customer needs and support water/wastewater issues.
• Strong time management and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure plans meet EU and National environmental legislation and policies.
• Track asset data and lifecycle across projects.
• Maintain asset data quality and updates.
• Respond to queries related to Water Action Plan 2024.
• Attend meetings with external stakeholders regarding Water Action Plan 2024.
• Monitor trends in water supply, wastewater, and catchment data for decision making.
• Promote safety and coordinate with internal teams on health and safety objectives.
• Support Asset Management and Transformation Programme initiatives.
