Job summary

Uisce Éireann is seeking an Environmental Coordinator within the Asset Management and Sustainability area to monitor and report on the Water Action Plan 2024 and River Basin Management Plans. The role collaborates with stakeholders to raise awareness, shares data for Water Framework Directive characterisation, and supports environmental policy execution across water and wastewater assets.

The successful candidate will track asset data, support reporting to EPA, and contribute to the RBMP

Qualifications

• Knowledge of catchment science, wastewater, water supply or environmental issues.
• Ability to analyse customer needs and provide support to resolve water/wastewater/catchment science issues.
• Proven ability to work on own initiative and with others to promote the success in the environmental team.
• Proven effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise and remain focused.
• Strong computer skills with proficiency of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Power BI and GIS.

Responsibilities

• Support Asset Strategy to ensure plans, projects, and programmes are delivered in accordance with EU and National environmental legislation.
• Support Project Managers in Asset Management and Infrastructure Delivery to meet Water Action Plan 2024 requirements.
• Efficiently track and manage asset and location data throughout the asset lifecycle.
• Assist in setting operational performance indicators relating to asset data and environmental data.
• Maintain registers including the Significant Pressure Register and liaise with Asset Planning teams for EPA data sharing.
