Job summary

Morgan McKinley in North Dublin is seeking a reliable Stock Controller to join our client’s team. The role combines hands-on warehouse duties with administrative tasks, focusing on accurate stock reception, recording, storage and reporting.

You will use warehouse systems and Microsoft Excel to prepare reports, monitor stock levels and investigate discrepancies. The position offers a full-time, permanent contract with a friendly environment and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse stock control or inventory management role.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations and stock procedures.
• Confident using computers, inventory systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Good administrative and reporting skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage both practical warehouse duties and administrative tasks.
• A proactive, flexible and hands-on approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor daily stock movements within the warehouse.
• Receive, check and process incoming deliveries.
• Ensure stock is correctly recorded, labelled and stored.
• Pick, organise and prepare stock for dispatch when required.
• Carry out regular stock checks and full stock takes.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Update and maintain warehouse and inventory management systems.
• Prepare stock reports and analyse inventory information.
• Use Microsoft Excel for stock tracking, reporting and administration.
• Monitor stock levels and highlight shortages or replenishment requirements.
• Ensure stock is stored correctly and warehouse locations are maintained.
• Liaise with warehouse staff, purchasing and other departments.
• Provide hands-on support with general warehouse activities when required.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
