Job summary

DSV is seeking a Warehouse Planner in Dublin to join our logistics network. You will focus on safety, quality and achieving performance targets while working both autonomously and with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key duties include following SOPs, coordinating with internal customers, maintaining inventory accuracy, cycle counting and ensuring orders are received, picked, inspected and delivered to meet customer requirements. Shift: Mon–Fri 15:00–23:00.

Qualifications

• Experience working autonomously in a warehouse environment.
• Proficient in operating forklifts and warehouse equipment.
• Strong inventory control and cycle counting understanding.
• Proven track record of meeting pick rates and targets.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety practices and SOPs.
• Follow SOPs and work instructions meticulously.
• Collaborate with internal customers to meet requirements.
• Execute warehouse tasks maintaining product, inventory and process integrity.
• Maintain output levels and report inventory discrepancies.
• Monitor weekly cycle counts and inventory accuracy.
• Ensure orders are received, picked, inspected and delivered per customer requirements.

Hours: Mon – Fri 15:00- 23:00

What Will You Be Doing?

• Adhere strictly to good safety practices, with a primary focus on Health and Safety during all tasks


• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions meticulously


• Collaborate closely with internal customers to meet business requirements efficiently


• Execute all warehouse tasks with efficiency, maintaining product, inventory, and process integrity per SOPs


• Sustain an output level consistent with other team members (units per hour)


• Monitor inventory for errors and promptly report them to the Warehouse Supervisor


• Stay informed about weekly cycle counting and maintain inventory accuracy


• Ensure all orders are received, picked, inspected, and delivered in line with customer requirements

About You

• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously within a warehouse setting


• Proficient in the operation of forklifts and other warehouse equipment


• Physical fitness is essential for packing and loading responsibilities


• Proven track record of consistently achieving targets and pick rates


• Proficiency in PC usage and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (SAP)


• Dependable and reliable in fulfilling responsibilities


• Possesses a good command of the English language (spoken, written, and reading skills)
