Job summary

DSV Ireland is seeking a Process Engineering Manager to lead process engineering, warehouse design and data-driven decision making in our Contract Logistics operations in Ireland. You will drive continuous improvement and customer-focused logistics solutions, with responsibility for a direct report and potential team growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
• Experience within process engineering, logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
• Strong experience in process mapping, warehouse design, capacity modelling, and operational improvement.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting and visualisation tools such as Power BI.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Customer-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve warehouse processes, layouts, material flows, and operational solutions.
• Analyse customer requirements and operational data to develop scalable and commercially viable solutions.
• Lead process improvement and engineering projects from design through to implementation and handover.
• Develop cost models, support customer tenders, and contribute to technical proposals.
• Create dashboards, reports, and data visualisations using Excel and Power BI.
• Analyse operational performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Support Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews through meaningful data insights.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve productivity, quality, service, and cost performance.
• Collaborate with customers, operations, IT, project teams, and senior stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
• Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making and operational excellence.

We are looking for a Process Engineering Manager with strong Data Analytics expertise to support our growing Contract Logistics business in Ireland. This role combines process engineering, warehouse solution design, project management, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making. You will lead the development of customer-focused logistics solutions, optimise warehouse operations, deliver actionable business insights, and manage one direct report, with future team growth opportunities.

What You'll Bring

Essential

• Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
• Experience within process engineering, logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
• Strong experience in process mapping, warehouse design, capacity modelling, and operational improvement.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting and visualisation tools such as Power BI.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Customer-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Desirable

• Project Management qualification.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Signavio, and MS Project.
• Knowledge of Lean methodologies and Continuous Improvement principles.
• Experience with WMS, cloud-based data platforms, or data warehouses.
• Knowledge of forecasting, statistical analysis, and data governance practices.
