Job summary

Conaty Food & Catering Supplies is seeking a reliable Freezer Warehouse Operative to join our on-site team in Ireland. The role focuses on stock replenishment, accurate picking, and safe storage in a fast-paced environment.

You will work Monday to Saturday, 5:00am–2:00pm, with one weekday off. The successful candidate will have at least one year of warehouse experience, strong English, and a solid understanding of food safety and HACCP requirements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and store food products in correct warehouse locations.
• Pick and prepare customer orders accurately according to picking lists.
• Ensure products are handled safely and stored properly.
• Check quantities, batch numbers, expiry dates and packaging for accuracy.
• Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Rotate stock correctly to maintain freshness.
• Pack, label and prepare products for dispatch to schedule.
• Keep freezer and work areas clean, tidy and safe.
• Follow all food safety, HACCP and health & safety procedures.
• Wear required PPE and maintain personal hygiene.
• Report damaged products or safety hazards immediately.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily goals.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by Supervisor or Manager.

The Role

As a Freezer Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring stock is replenished, organised and prepared for daily operations. Working as part of a supportive warehouse team, you will help maintain an efficient workflow while ensuring products are stored safely and accurately.

Working Hours:Monday to Saturday, 5:00am – 2:00pm, with one set day off during the week.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Receive, check, and store food products in the correct warehouse locations.

Pick and prepare customer orders accurately according to picking lists and delivery requirements.

Ensure products are handled safely and kept in suitable storage conditions.

Check product quantities, batch numbers, expiry dates, and packaging for accuracy and quality.

Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.

Ensure stock is rotated correctly

Pack, label, and prepare products for dispatch in accordance with company standards.

Keep the freezer/warehouse and surrounding work areas clean, organised, and safe.

Follow allfood safety, HACCP, health and safety, and company procedures at all times.

Wear the required PPE and maintain good personal hygiene standards.

Report damaged products, equipment faults, spills, or safety hazards immediately.

Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily productivity and dispatch targets.

Carry out any other reasonable duties assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.
