Job summary

DSV Air & Sea SAU is seeking a part-time Warehouse Operative for a 6-month contract at Baldonnel, Ireland. The role involves picking, packing and handling high-value products, with a focus on accuracy, safety and efficiency.

You will work Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30, delivering on SOPs, quality standards and customer requirements while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting cycle-counting activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations, especially picking and packing.
• Ability to meet productivity targets and quality standards.
• Good written and spoken English, reliable and organised.
• Follows established processes and SOPs; basic PC skills.
• SAP or WMS experience is desirable; PPT licence a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, inspect, and prepare customer orders accurately and on time.
• Handle valuable and sensitive products with care.
• Ensure activities comply with SOPs and quality standards.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support cycle counts.
• Work towards targets and service levels; report discrepancies.
• Participate in safety audits and housekeeping.
• Work independently or in a team to achieve objectives.
• Support other warehouse duties as required.

Warehouse Operative – 6 months contract

Baldonnel

Monday to Friday 08.00-16.30, 39 hours per week

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team in Baldonnel, supporting the safe, accurate, and efficient handling of highly sensitive and valuable products. This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast-moving warehouse operation where safety, quality, and teamwork are key to success.

What you'll do

• Pick, pack, inspect, and prepare customer orders accurately and on time
• Handle highly valuable and sensitive products with care and attention to detail
• Ensure all warehouse activities are completed in line with SOPs, quality standards, and customer requirements
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support cycle-counting activities
• Work towards operational targets and service level agreements
• Report inventory discrepancies, hazards, and incidents promptly
• Participate in safety initiatives, audits, and housekeeping activities
• Work independently and as part of a team to achieve operational objectives
• Support additional warehouse duties as required

What we're looking for

• Previous warehouse experience, particularly picking and packing, is an advantage
• Experience working to productivity targets and performance standards
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow established processes and procedures
• Good communication skills and a good level of spoken and written English
• Reliable, professional, and organised approach to work
• Basic PC skills, with Warehouse Management System or SAP experience desirable
• PPT licence is advantageous but not essential
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Flexible approach to duties and operational requirements
