Job summary

Rent a Recruiter is recruiting on behalf of a multinational client for an experienced Warehouse & Inventory Technician to join their team at a busy site in Galway. You will play a key role in day-to-day stores, inventory control and material movement, with full training provided.

This role offers an opportunity to develop within a professional multinational environment, supporting warehousing operations and ensuring accurate records and efficient stock control.

Qualifications

• Fluent English in both written and spoken form is essential.
• Warehouse, stores, inventory or materials-handling experience is advantageous.
• MS Excel and Word proficiency is an advantage.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• Confident when dealing with customers, suppliers and vendors.
• Flexible and adaptable with a positive, can-do attitude; keen to learn new skills.
• Knowledge of a broad range of industrial tools/tooling would be a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Stores function.
• Receive and process goods inwards.
• Deliver materials and goods to the factory floor.
• Carry out stock and cycle counting.
• Prepare orders for customer collection.
• Achieve agreed operational and performance metrics.
• Respond to customer and site-specific requirements in line with contractual agreements.
• Maintain accurate records and support efficient inventory control.
• Carry out other ad hoc warehouse and stores duties as required.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established operation where you will play an important role in the day-to-day management of stores, inventory and material movement. Full training will be provided.
