Job summary

Traditional Cheese Company Ltd is seeking a Part-Time Warehouse Operative to join our team in a busy, food-focused facility. The role covers 16–20 hours per week with shifts on Mondays and Saturdays, and requires a Forklift Truck Licence along with reliable, team-oriented work.

You will handle goods, follow FIFO, maintain food safety standards, and help maintain a clean, safe warehouse. Availability for both Monday and Saturday is essential; pay is €15.61 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ warehouse experience.
• Forklift Truck Licence.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all manual handling requirements.
• Pick products accurately, ensuring correct quantities and weights.
• Maintain awareness of temperature-control requirements within relevant areas.
• Ensure products are loaded and unloaded correctly and safely.
• Ensure all goods are rotated correctly using FIFO (First In, First Out) to minimise stock obsolescence.
• Maintain awareness of and adhere to allergen requirements and controls.
• Notify a member of the Quality Assurance team of any quality issues as they arise.
• Adhere to the Company’s Food Safety and Quality Management System.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment.

We have an opportunity available at Traditional Cheese Company for a Part-Time Warehouse Operative to join our team.

Working Days: Monday and Saturday
Hours: 16–20 hours per week
Job Type: Part-time, Permanent

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all manual handling requirements.
• Pick products accurately, ensuring correct quantities and weights.
• Maintain awareness of temperature-control requirements within relevant areas.
