• Carrying out warehouse duties including order picking, packing, checking, loading, unloading, and scanning safely and efficiently.
• Completing paperwork accurately and maintaining records per procedures.
• Conduct pre-use vehicle and equipment checks and report defects.
• Report load discrepancies, damages, shortages, or overages promptly.
• Maintain a safe working environment per Health and Safety procedures and keep areas clean.
• Complete required training and comply with policies and handbook.
• Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.

PACE LOGISTICS

About The Role

This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, secure, and accurate handling and transportation of goods, while following safe driving practices and complying with Company policies, procedures, and operational standards.

Contract Type: Permanent (6-month probationary period).

Day Shift: 8.00am - 5.00pm, Monday - Friday.

Night Shift: 11.00pm – 8.00am, Monday - Friday.

Location: PACE Logistics,201 Waterford Industrial Estate Rd, Skibbereen, Waterford, X91 C594.

Key Duties of the Role

• Carrying out a range of warehouse and operational duties including order picking, packing, checking, loading, unloading, and scanning in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner.
• Completing relevant paperwork accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring records are maintained in accordance with Company procedures.
• Conduct pre-use vehicle and equipment checks, reporting any defects or issues in line with Company procedures.
• Report any load discrepancies, damages, shortages, or overages promptly and in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to Health Safety procedures and keeping work areas clean, tidy, and free from hazards at all times.
• Complete all required training and maintain compliance with Company policies, procedures, and standards as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Promote a positive and collaborative working environment.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum two years’ forklift experience in a busy warehouse environment.
• Valid, in-date forklift license.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Positive “can do” attitude.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy, fast paced environment.
• Excellent Customer Service skills.
• GDP and HAACP training, desirable.
