Job summary

Rexel Celbridge is seeking a Warehouse Operative / Driver to join our team at the Celbridge, Co. Kildare branch. The role combines hands-on warehouse duties with occasional driving to support deliveries and customer service at the trade counter.

You will operate a reach truck, pick and pack orders, load vehicles, conduct stock checks, and maintain safety and cleanliness. Flexibility for shifts or weekends is required to meet daily targets.

Qualifications

• Full clean Category B driving licence.
• Experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse.
• Understanding of manual handling and health & safety practices.
• Basic literacy and numeracy for paperwork and stock records.
• Experience using a WMS is desirable.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, or weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a reach truck safely to load, unload, and move pallets within racking systems.
• Pick and pack orders accurately in line with WMS instructions.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring goods are secured for transport.
• Carry out customer deliveries and collections as required using company vehicles.
• Carry out general warehouse duties including sorting, labelling, stock rotation and housekeeping.
• Complete loading manifests, delivery documentation and stock records accurately.
• Conduct daily pre-use checks on reach trucks and company vehicles, reporting faults.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working area in line with safety standards.
• Assist with stock takes and cycle counts as required.
• Provide support at the trade counter when required, assisting customers and branch colleagues.
• Work collaboratively with the wider warehouse team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
• Always follow all health and safety policies and procedures.
