Choice Stores in Ashbourne, Ireland is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join a busy logistics team. You will pick, pack, and dispatch orders, load and unload vehicles, and help maintain stock levels with accuracy.

The role involves operating forklifts and pallet jacks, following safety procedures, and supporting a fast-paced warehouse environment. Training is provided for forklift use, and you will collaborate with colleagues to meet daily targets while ensuring compliance with health and safety

Formación

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred.
• Forklift certification is an advantage, but training will be provided.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items safely.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately pick, pack, and process customer orders in a timely manner
• Load and unload delivery vehicles, adhering to safe lifting techniques and guidelines
• Maintain stock inventory, ensuring accuracy and organization
• Ability to build solid safe pallets
• Ensure all deliveries are checked in and out accurately from the warehouse
• Ensure that Goods Receiving and Dispatching procedures are followed at all times
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner
• Participate in routine stock checks and report discrepancies
• Work closely with team members to achieve warehouse targets and goals
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations

Hourly Rate (Age 20+): €14.15-€14.90 per hour

• Age 19: 90% of the applicable adult rate
• Age 18: 80% of the applicable adult rate
• Under 18: 70% of the applicable adult rate
