Job summary

Applegreen Stores is seeking an experienced Warehouse Forklift Driver/Goods Inward at the Leixlip Distribution Centre. The role involves goods inward processing, stock control, replenishment, and upholding safety and efficiency across the site.

Responsibilities include unloading inbound deliveries with a counterbalance forklift, accurately recording stock in the WMS, and putting stock away across ambient, chilled, and frozen environments. Immediate start for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Hold valid licences/certifications for Counterbalance Forklift and PPT.
• Minimum of two years' warehouse experience, ideally in food/chilled/frozen distribution.
• Comfortable working across ambient, chilled, and frozen warehouse areas.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Warehouse Forklift Driver/Goods Inward - Leixlip Distribution Centre

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Forklift Driver / Goods Inward Operative to join our growing team at our Leixlip Distribution Centre.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, with responsibility for goods inward processing, stock control, replenishment activities, and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload inbound deliveries using a counterbalance forklift.
• Accurately book stock into the warehouse management system, ensuring product dates, temperatures, and conditions are correctly recorded.
• Put stock away using VNA and reach truck equipment across ambient, chilled, and frozen warehouse environments.
• Replenish stock from reserve locations to picking locations as required.
• Liaise with warehouse and operational teams to ensure the smooth running of daily activities.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, cleanliness, and safety throughout the warehouse.
• Adhere to all company health and safety procedures and operational standards.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

Hold valid licences/certification for:

• Counterbalance Forklift
• PPT (Powered Pallet Truck)
• Have a minimum of two years' warehouse experience, ideally within a food, chilled, or frozen distribution environment.
• Be comfortable working across ambient, chilled, and frozen warehouse areas.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Be capable of working independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
• Have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety.
