Job summary

PE Global is recruiting for a Warehouse & Materials Operator for a leading multinational Biotech client based in Cork. This 4-month contract runs Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 16:00, and covers receiving, storing laboratory consumables and ensuring laboratories are well-stocked.

Responsibilities include stock preparation, cycle counts, inventory records, replenishment ordering, inbound deliveries, waste disposal per expiry and audits. Full training provided; GMP/quality awareness preferred.

Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate and a curiosity for science.
• Full training will be given; previous experience in a pharmaceutical/food manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential.
• Previous experience with materials handling and/or warehousing would be an advantage.
• Ability to understand and follow Health & Safety instructions.
• Computer Literate; proficient in data capture, analysis and reporting.
• Process-driven and high levels of attention to detail.
• Full clean driving license.
• Safepass.

• Order consumable replenishment items online and deliver goods to customer locations.
• Receive inbound deliveries and account for defective/damaged products; move and store stock by hand or machines.
• Glass & cabinet washing; glass, solvents & samples disposal as per expiry date.
• Recycling of all packaging materials as per policies.
• Identify opportunities for improved services and implement them.
• Act as a contact for audits relating to inventory programs.

PE Global is currently recruiting for a Warehouse & Materials Operator for a leading multi-national Biotech client based in Cork.

This is an initial 4-month contract position Monday-Friday, 07:30-16:00, responsible for receiving and storing laboratory consumables and ensuring our customer laboratories are well-stocked.

ROLE:

• Ensure that stock is prepared and maintained for detailed storing, perform daily stock cycle counts, keep accurate records on inventory, and check for any discrepancies.
• Order consumable replenishment items online and deliver goods to customer locations. Continuously monitor inventory consumption levels and flag reports on a weekly basis.
• Receive inbound deliveries and account for all defective or damaged products and follow up with appropriate corrective action; move and store stock by hand or machines.
• Glass & cabinet washing; glass, solvents & samples disposal as per expiry date
• Recycling of all packaging materials as per customer and Avantor policies
• Identifying opportunities for improved services and implementing them
• Act as a point of contact for audits relating to inventory programs

REQUIREMENTS:
