Job summary

Lidl Ireland’s Regional Distribution Centre is seeking a proactive administrator to support the logistics team and keep stock flowing to stores. You’ll handle data, schedules and warehouse communications to ensure orders are received and processed promptly in a busy distribution environment.

This role combines office and warehouse tasks with a focus on accuracy, teamwork and effective coordination. Training and development opportunities are provided within Lidl.

Qualifications

• Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace tools.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Confident telephone manner and excellent communication skills.
• Flexible can-do attitude.
• An eye for detail.
• Outstanding numeracy skills.
• Experience within a warehouse environment preferable.

Responsibilities

• Support the Deputy Logistics Manager with daily tasks, including database management, stock management, the receiving schedule and other relevant computer programmes
• Communicate over the phone to other departments, dealing with queries or issues
• Coordinate with drivers to assign bays and receive goods
• Coordinate with GI checkers to ensure accurate reception of goods
• Process relevant documentation and input data into the warehouse system
• Assist the Deputy Logistics Manager and Logistics Manager with ad hoc tasks
