A Waitress/Waiter plays a pivotal role in creating a positive dining experience by providing attentive, efficient, and friendly service to guests.

This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Guest Service - Greet guests warmly as they arrive and escort them to their tables.
• Present menus and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies)
• Order Taking and Serving - Take accurate food and drink orders using order slips or a POS system.
• Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure all orders are delivered promptly and correctly.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Customer Engagement - Check in with guests to ensure they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
• Provide recommendations on food and beverages when requested.
• Payment Processing - Prepare and present checks to guests and process payments.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately.
• Table Maintenance - Clear and clean tables, reset them for the next guests.
• Ensure dining areas are tidy and well-presented at all times
• Collaboration - Work closely with kitchen staff and other waitstaff to ensure efficient operation of the restaurant.
• Assist in other areas of the restaurant as needed, such as seating guests and clearing tables.
• Compliance - Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Follow all restaurant policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Experience - Previous experience as a waitress or in a customer service role is required.

Skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly.
