Job summary

Big Mamma in Dublin is hiring a waiter/waitress to join Gloria Osteria Dublin. You will welcome guests, take orders, upsell, and process payments while delivering hospitality in our vibrant Italian setting. You will learn our wine and cocktail knowledge, open and close the floor, and uphold health and safety standards.

A positive, proactive attitude and weekend/evening availability are required. We offer competitive pay (€16 incl.

• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a busy restaurant
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings

Responsibilities

• Look after guests in your section from greeting to payment.
• Provide product recommendations and upsell where appropriate.
• Master knowledge of our wines and cocktails.
• Open and close the floor and ensure smooth service.
• Maintain health and safety standards and keep floor clean.

YOUR MISSION:

• You will be part of a BIG MAMMA floor team!

• Your top priority will be to look after all of the guests in your section - following the steps of service, giving recommendations, upselling and processing payments.

• You will master the knowledge of our products, wines and cocktails.

• You will be opening and closing the floor.

• You will respect health and safety standards and maintain cleanliness and organisation across the floor

• You will spread magic and make our customers live the best moment of their day!

• You will embody Big Mamma values: have a warm, smiling, professional attitude towards the customers, help your colleagues during service and demonstrate a "problem solver" attitude.
