Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: NFQ Level 7/8 in Mechatronics, Robotics, Automation, Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• 5+ years in maintenance or engineering, preferably in a regulated semiconductor setting.
• Experience with factory automation, robotics, and AMHS/OHT systems.
• Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and HMI; ability to read schematics and CAD drawings.
• Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Robotics & Tool‑Tending Automation: oversee robot systems and integration.
• Act as liaison between wafer‑fab operations and Robotics Development Team.
• Provide engineering oversight for OHT/AMHS systems and automation reliability.
• Support testing, deployment, and optimisation of automation solutions.
• Collaborate with vendors for upgrades and maintenance planning.
