Job summary

GKR Search and Selection is representing a global aircraft leasing and asset management platform seeking a Vice President - Powerplant to provide strategic technical leadership across engine assets, maintenance strategy and transaction support.

The role requires coordinating with airlines, MROs, OEMs and internal teams to optimize asset performance, costs and transaction outcomes while guiding senior stakeholders on technical risk and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Extensive powerplant engineering experience.
• Deep knowledge of engine asset management and maintenance planning.
• Experience with airline technical operations, MROs or OEM environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide powerplant support across acquisitions, leases, transitions, redeliveries and disposals.
• Review engine condition, maintenance status, records, shop visit needs and cost forecasts.
• Support commercial and investment decisions by identifying engine-related technical and financial considerations.
• Collaborate with airlines, MROs, OEMs and internal teams on maintenance planning and transaction execution.
• Provide senior technical input across the portfolio.
