Job summary

GKR Search and Selection is supporting an international aviation asset management business in the search for an Assistant Vice President, Engineering to join its technical team in Dublin, Ireland. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of aviation engineering experience in leasing or airline.
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial aircraft.
• Good understanding of applicable aviation regulations and engineering requirements.
• Strong project management, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Avionics experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support across a range of portfolio, transaction and technical project activity.
• Coordinate aircraft configuration, modification and engineering workstreams across assigned assets.
• Support the planning and delivery of technical projects, ensuring key milestones and requirements are met.
• Manage project costs, external engineering resources and third-party technical providers where required.
• Review technical documentation and support regulatory, compliance and approval processes.
• Work closely with internal teams and external partners to identify and resolve engineering issues.
• Assess relevant technical and regulatory developments and consider their potential impact on aircraft, projects and portfolio strategy.
• Contribute to wider technical initiatives and continuous improvement across the business.
