Job summary

Peak Performance Recruitment is seeking a technically strong aviation professional to lead engine asset management, maintenance strategy and transaction support for a high-performing investment platform. You will influence major decisions, protect asset value, assess maintenance risks and work across leasing, airline, OEM or MRO contexts to optimise portfolio performance.

The role requires 5–10 years in powerplant engineering, a relevant engineering degree, and advanced Excel/data analysis

Qualifications

• 5-10 years experience in powerplant engineering in aviation leasing/airline/OEM/MRO.
• Degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong engine maintenance planning and shop visit management knowledge.
• Ability to assess technical risks and impact on asset value and lease economics.
• Experience reviewing maintenance workscopes, reserves, overhaul costs and records.
• Commercial awareness with ability to blend technical analysis and business judgement.
• Advanced analytical capability with Excel and data analysis skills.
• Excellent communication to influence stakeholders at all levels.

The successful candidate will play a key role in protecting asset value, managing maintenance exposure and supporting critical commercial decisions.

Requirements

• 5-10 years experience powerplant engineering experience in an aircraft leasing, airline, OEM or MRO environment.


• Relevant aeronautical engineering or related degree qualification


• Strong knowledge of engine maintenance planning, shop visit management and maintenance cost evaluation.


• Proven ability to assess technical risks and understand their impact on asset value, lease economics and investment decisions.


• Experience reviewing maintenance workscopes, engine reserves, overhaul costs and technical records.


• Commercial awareness with the ability to combine technical analysis and business judgement.


• Degree or equivalent qualification in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance or a related discipline.


• Advanced analytical capability, including strong Excel and data analysis skills.


• Excellent communication skills with the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels.
