Job summary

GKR Search and Selection is seeking a VP Technical to join the Dublin-based Technical team, overseeing aircraft transitions and supporting the business's commercial strategy. The role requires an engineering degree or FAA/EASA licence with 4+ years in transition management, plus airline or MRO background, and strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.

You will coordinate internal and external parties to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and optimized asset utilization

Qualifications

• 4+ years in aircraft transition management with airline/MRO background.
• Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage aircraft redeliveries and transitions, including budgeting and MRO oversight.
• Negotiate technical terms of LOIs and leases for new and used aircraft.
• Oversee external consultants and ensure timelines and technical quality.
• Interface with internal departments to enhance risk visibility on assets.
