Job summary

State Street is seeking a highly skilled Information Security Architect with deep expertise in data protection to join our security team. The ideal candidate will design and implement security architectures focused on data at rest, in motion, and in use within a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities include defining security models, implementing cryptographic solutions, and enforcing data handling policies using DSPM, CASB, and SSPM. Experience with GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related fields; master’s preferred.
• 7–10 years of information security experience with focus on security architecture and data protection.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, or similar recognized credentials.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and maintain security architecture for data protection across lifecycle.
• Develop and enforce data protection policies and cryptographic solutions.
• Ensure alignment with GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS and industry standards.
• Collaborate with IT, legal, and compliance teams to integrate security measures.
