BNY Mellon in Dublin seeks a highly analytical Credit Risk Manager to join our European Credit Risk team. Based in Dublin, you will oversee credit risk for European financial institutions and ensure decisions are well documented and aligned with risk appetite.

You will review credit proposals, monitor portfolios, manage limit breaches, and escalate issues with clear justification. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Risk Management, or related field.
• Minimum five years in credit risk management or related areas.
• Strong understanding of credit risk fundamentals and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of risk appetite frameworks, governance, and controls.
• Ability to analyze complex credit information and communicate recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong stakeholder management.

Responsabilidades

• Provide independent review, challenge, and approval recommendations for credit actions.
• Assess borrower, counterparty, transaction, and portfolio risks to stay within risk appetite.
• Collaborate with business teams to support well-documented credit requests.
• Monitor portfolios for emerging risks, breaches, and rating changes.
• Escalate material concerns to senior stakeholders with clear justification.
• Support credit governance activities, reporting, and regulatory requests.
• Contribute to policy and control enhancements to strengthen the risk framework.
• Leverage data, analytics, and technology to improve risk identification and efficiency.
