Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Risk Management, or related field.
• Minimum five years in credit risk management or related areas.
• Strong understanding of credit risk fundamentals and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of risk appetite frameworks, governance, and controls.
• Ability to analyze complex credit information and communicate recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent review, challenge, and approval recommendations for credit actions.
• Assess borrower, counterparty, transaction, and portfolio risks to stay within risk appetite.
• Collaborate with business teams to support well-documented credit requests.
• Monitor portfolios for emerging risks, breaches, and rating changes.
• Escalate material concerns to senior stakeholders with clear justification.
• Support credit governance activities, reporting, and regulatory requests.
• Contribute to policy and control enhancements to strengthen the risk framework.
• Leverage data, analytics, and technology to improve risk identification and efficiency.
