Job summary

The Rehab Group is seeking a Vocational Training Instructor to oversee training and development of Learners per local programme specifications. The role includes supporting learners with future career and education planning and ensuring day-to-day operation of training programmes.

Requirements include a third-level qualification in Education/Training or Social Sciences, QQI Level 6 Train the Trainer, and experience with QQI certification processes.

Qualifications

• Third level qualification in Education/Training or Social Sciences.
• QQI Level 6 Train the Trainer or higher.
• Years of relevant experience in educational, guidance or development contexts.
• Experience with QQI certification and accreditation processes.
• Excellent facilitation, presentation, interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide systematic training according to curricula for QQI Level certification.
• Facilitate learners in developing knowledge, skills and confidence for progression.
• Meet KPIs on learner placement, progression and certification targets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain programme allocations.
• Assist learners in reviewing past experiences and planning future goals.
• Develop Individual Action Plans to support learner progression and assess needs.
• Source and support work experience placements and model professional work behaviour.
