Job summary

DFDS UK & Ireland is hiring a VNA Operative in Rathcoole to support warehouse operations. You will operate VNA equipment to store and move pallets, ensure accuracy, and follow safety procedures on a Monday to Friday 14:00–22:00 shift.

You’ll work closely with the warehouse team, drop pallets to picking areas, check equipment, and help maintain a clean, safe environment. A valid VNA licence and prior warehousing experience are preferred, and reliability and attention to detail are valued.

About the role

Working Monday to Friday on the 14:00–22:00 shift, you’ll play a vital role in supporting warehouse operations by ensuring stock is stored and moved safely and efficiently. You’ll use VNA equipment to manage pallet movements and support the wider warehouse team in maintaining smooth operational flow.

You will be responsible for:

• Operating VNA equipment to put away and retrieve pallets safely
• Dropping pallets to designated picking and operational areas
• Supporting warehouse floor activities as required
• Ensuring stock is stored accurately within warehouse locations
• Carrying out equipment checks and reporting any defects
• Following all warehouse procedures and Health & Safety requirements
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment

About you

You’ll hold a valid VNA licence and be confident operating VNA equipment within a warehouse environment. Experience working in a fast-paced logistics or warehousing operation would be beneficial.

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re reliable, safety-conscious, and have strong attention to detail. You’ll be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, with a proactive attitude and willingness to support wider warehouse activities when needed.
