Job summary

The Citco Group Limited is seeking an experienced PE accounting lead in Dublin to drive a high-performing team, develop SME knowledge on PE client structures and oversee accounting deliverables for multiple funds.

You will review fee calculations, capital activity, and financial statements, while maintaining client relationships and ensuring SLA compliance across portfolios.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in accounting operations or practice.
• 2+ years’ experience in Private Equity.
• Strong communication and written skills as a team player.
• Ability to prioritize work based on deadlines.
• Good customer relationship skills and service focus.
• Knowledge of financial services industry and products.
• Proven Fund Accounting system and MS Office skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Degree in Finance or Accounting (2.1+), desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of PE accounting specialists.
• Mentor and support team through training and development.
• Develop SME on PE client structures and PE accounting processes.
• Manage and monitor client accounting deliverables (SLAs).
• Prepare or review monthly/quarterly accounting packs.
• Manage client capital activity processing (calls/distributions/transfers).
• Review/prepare management fee and waterfall/carry calculations.
• Prepare accounts and financial statements for PE structures.
• Review accounting ledgers and investor allocations.
• Engage with team and manager on goals; participate in performance reviews.
• Communicate with clients and maintain strong relationships.
• Review LPAs, PPMs, and materials to ensure SLA alignment.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

• Lead a team of PE accounting specialists
• Mentor and support your team through training and development
• Develop into a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on PE client structures and PE accounting processes
• Help manage and monitor client accounting deliverables (SLAs) with your team and the client
• Prepare or review various monthly/quarterly accounting packs
• Manage the client capital activity processing (calls/distributions/transfers)
• Review/prepare management fee and waterfall/carry calculations
• Prepare accounts and/or financial statements for various PE structures
• Review/prepare accounting ledgersReview/prepare investor allocations and capital statements
• Regularly engage with your team and your manager on individual and team goals
• Participate in team performance reviews
• Communicate regularly with client(s) and help maintain great client relationships
• Review client Limited Partnership Agreements (LPAs), PPMs, and other materials and ensure service levels are in line with such legal documents
• Engage in local and global group projects
• Act as liaison to various internal/external stakeholders

Qualifications

About You:

• 3+ years’ experience in accounting operations or practice
• 2+ years’ experience in Private Equity
• Strong team player who exhibits strong communication and written skills
• Ability to prioritize work based on deadlines
• Good customer relationship skills
• Good knowledge of the financial services industry, its products and practices, and a strong interest in further development and learning
• Proven Fund Accounting system, Microsoft Word and Excel, and PowerPoint skills
• Degree Qualified (2.1 and above) in Finance or Accounting related degree (desirable).
