Job summary

The Citco Group Limited in Dublin is seeking a VP-level professional to lead a private equity fund accounting team, coordinating managers, supervisors and specialists to deliver accurate reporting and strong client service.

You will manage client relationships, ensure timely SLAs, mentor staff as SME on fund structures, participate in marketing and sales pitches, and drive efficiency across processes while maintaining high standards of controls and compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in accounting operations or practice.
• 5+ years’ experience in Private Equity (Desirable).
• Strong communication and written skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables and stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of financial services industry and products.
• Proven Excel, Word, and PowerPoint proficiency.

Responsibilities

Your role is to:

Mentor your team as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on client structures and accounting processes

Engage in and drive efficiency projects

Participate in marketing and sales pitches; effectively demonstrate and communicate Citco’s workflows, best practices and technologies

Draft performance procedures and/or operational memoranda

Act as liaison to various internal/external stakeholders

Qualifications

About You:

You have 7+ years’ experience in accounting operations or practice

You have 5+ years’ experience in Private Equity (Desirable)

You are a strong team player who exhibits strong communication and written skills

You have the ability to handle several deliverables and different stakeholders simultaneously, and prioritize work based on deadlines

You have strong customer relationship skills

You must have strong knowledge of the financial services industry, its products and practices, and a strong interest in further development and learning

You have proven Fund Accounting system, Microsoft Word and Excel, and PowerPoint skills

You are degree Qualified (2.1 and above) in Finance or Accounting related degree (desirable)
