Our client is seeking an experienced Vermilion Reporting Specialist to join their growing team in Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong reporting professional with deep experience in financial services and investment reporting platforms.
You will play a key role in the implementation, configuration, and optimisation of the Vermilion Reporting Suite (VRS), supporting complex client reporting requirements across multiple asset classes.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Configuration & Customisation
- Implement, configure, and customise the Vermilion Reporting Suite (VRS) to support client-specific investment reporting requirements
- Develop scalable and efficient reporting solutions aligned with business and regulatory needs
Technical Integration
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations between VRS and external data sources, including:
- SQL Server
- Oracle
- Markit EDM
- Aladdin
- API/XML/JSON-based interfaces
Workflow Automation
- Build, test, and maintain automated reporting workflows and batch processes
- Enhance operational efficiency through automation and process optimisation
Report Development
- Design and deliver high-quality client reporting templates and branded outputs in:
- Support reporting across a range of asset classes including Fixed Income, Equities, and Derivatives
Testing, Validation & Support
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and data validation to ensure reporting accuracy and platform performance
- Investigate and resolve technical and data-related issues in a timely manner
Required Skills & Experience
Technical & Functional Expertise
- 8–10 years’ experience in enterprise software implementation within financial services or asset management
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- SQL (MS SQL Server and/or Oracle)
- ETL processes
- Database analysis and debugging
- Deep knowledge of the Vermilion Reporting Suite, including report design, APIs, and core modules
- Experience with Power BI is highly desirable
