Job summary

New Ireland Assurance, part of Bank of Ireland Group, is seeking a Vendor Manager to oversee third party technology suppliers and ensure service delivery aligns with commitments.

You will work across governance, risk management and regulatory compliance, strengthening supplier relationships and promoting operational resilience.

Hybrid role based in Dublin with regular in-person collaboration; you will engage with business, procurement and risk teams to drive improvements.

Qualifications

What is the opportunity?

At New Ireland Assurance, we help customers prepare for important life events through protection, investment and pension solutions. As a Vendor Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our third party technology suppliers deliver strong outcomes for the business and our customers.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across supplier performance, governance, risk management and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with a wide range of partners, helping to strengthen supplier relationships, improve operational resilience and support continuous improvement across the supplier lifecycle.

In this role, you will:

• Vendor manage a portfolio of third party technology suppliers, supporting strong relationships and ensuring services are delivered in line with agreed commitments.
• Coordinate supplier governance activities, including service reviews, performance monitoring and the management of actions arising from issues or improvement opportunities.
• Support third party risk management processes, including supplier onboarding, due diligence, ongoing monitoring, operational resilience and supplier assurance activities.
• Assist with audit, regulatory and compliance requirements, helping to gather evidence, track remediation actions and support adherence to regulatory obligations.
• Work closely with business, procurement, risk and technology teams to improve supplier management processes, reporting and governance practices.

• Working in financial services, insurance, banking or another regulated industry.
• Supporting audits, compliance reviews or operational governance activities.
• Supplier management tools and platforms such as Coupa or Hellios FSQS.
• Professional certifications in procurement, risk management, project management, information security or related disciplines.

Our Vendor Management Team plays a vital role in working with key suppliers who support New Ireland Assurance. We take pride in supporting one another, sharing knowledge and creating an environment where everyone can develop and succeed.

The team works closely with colleagues across New Ireland and Bank of Ireland, providing oversight of supplier performance, risk management, governance and regulatory compliance. Together, we help ensure suppliers deliver value while meeting operational and regulatory expectations.

This is a hybrid role, based primarily in Dublin, Ireland. We typically ask colleagues to spend a minimum of 8 days per month working in person to support collaboration and connection. Specific arrangements will be confirmed by your recruiter to ensure they meet the needs of the role and team.
