Client

Our client a leading International Financial Services requires Contract Application Developer/ Support Engineer for 12 months daily rate role based in Blackrock, Co. Dublin, Ireland.

The role requires the candidate to be onsite 3 days per week.

Requirements

• 10+ years’ experience in software development, predominantly in Finance related industry. Accounting/Investment or Insurance industry context ideal.
• You will have a specialisation in developing and deploying applications using VB.Net, VB6, C# and SQL.
• Experience in application architecture design, database design, object modelling, and software development life cycle.
• Design and development of relational database systems on Oracle. SQL Server experience an added advantage.
• Followed Object Oriented best practices to enhance extensibility and code reuse and the use of patterns where applicable.
• Full life cycle development from conception through maintenance.
• Team Player who can work through all the established development life cycle methodologies from Waterfall to Agile.
• Customer Facing Experience e.g. dealing with queries from users, providing application support, problem diagnosis and resolution.

Education

• B Sc./M Sc. or equivalent qualification in Computer Science or related discipline.

Technical Expertise
