Qualifications

• Student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in operations, engineering, science, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities in a technical environment.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Support department’s operational and continuous-improvement activities with enthusiasm and curiosity.
• Assist with process operations and help investigate technical or process-related issues.
• Record, escalate and support timely closure of Safety, Quality and Compliance incidents.
• Participate in cross-functional troubleshooting, investigation and problem-solving teams.
• Support material-management activities to reduce waste, improve availability and control costs.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma and continuous-improvement principles to practical challenges.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects through data gathering, analysis, documentation and follow-up actions.
• Support continuous-improvement initiatives and root-cause analysis using FMEA, Fishbone diagrams and 5 Whys.
• Help identify process improvements and present recommendations to stakeholders.
• Maintain high standards of Safety, Quality, Compliance and Cost control.
