NIBRT in Ireland invites applications for a Research Fellow to join the Lassa LIFT consortium on a 24-month contract. The role focuses on identifying, developing and verifying thermostabilising formulations and processes for a live virus vector vaccine, using pharmaceutical and virology methods to enable scalable production.

Competenze

• PhD in vaccine-related pharmaceutical sciences or virology.
• At least 5 years postdoc or industry experience in biopharmaceutical formulation and stabilisation of live vaccines.
• Ability to work independently on research projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with knowledge of research methodologies.
• Track record of peer-reviewed publications or relevant industry experience.
• Experience stabilising vaccines using lyophilisation and developing shelf-stable formulations.
• Experience in EU-funded consortia and ability to secure external funding; management experience in a lab setting.
