AbbVie Ballytivnan team invites technical experts to join our growing team as a Technical Shift Leader. You will lead and develop team members technically and professionally, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance while delivering cost performance in a biologics fill-finish facility.

This is a shift-based role with days and evenings, requiring collaboration with QA, program management, supply chain, engineering and technical operations to meet objectives and maintain a high-performance

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in batch processing, automation, commissioning, and/or validation in FDA/HHPRA-regulated industry.
• At least 1 year of direct supervisory experience.
• Degree in chemistry, pharmacy, engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Detailed knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with contamination control principles and aseptic processing.
• Technical background in pharmaceutical/biologics.

Responsabilités

• Lead and support manufacturing team to deliver compounding, filling, lyophilization, formulation, and processing activities.
• Coach and mentor team; maximize effectiveness through clear communication.
• Promote contamination control and aseptic best practices.
• Coordinate with QA, regulatory, and other groups to ensure scheduling and compliance.
• Provide direct interface as SME with QA and health authorities during audits.
• Drive operations excellence and key targets such as OEE where applicable.
