Job summary

European Tech Recruit is partnering with a Cork-based leading semiconductor company to hire a UX Frontend Systems Software Engineer. You will develop software tools and interfaces supporting sensor technology research, development, and validation of workflows.

Responsibilities include frontend design, managing app state, and integrating frontend with backend data processing services, emphasizing robust, user-friendly dashboards and cross-language interfaces.

Qualifications

• Experience coding in MATLAB and Python with unit tests.
• Familiarity with modern C/C++ standards and OO languages.
• Ability to design data visualization interfaces and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Code in MATLAB and Python with unit testing and system testing.
• Architect software frameworks using MVC, event-driven, and component-based patterns.
• Work with C++/MATLAB/Python/Java OO languages as needed.
• Design and implement data visualization interfaces for engineering analysis.
• Integrate frontend components with backend data processing services.
• Balance performance, memory, and power constraints in software tools.
• Assist in SOC hardware model design and related tools.
• Engage with customers and sensor vendors during demos.
