Job summary

Ministry Brands in Galway is seeking a hands-on UX Engineer to join our agile product team. You’ll bridge design thinking with production code, building reusable UI components and shaping our design system.

You’ll collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to translate research into polished, accessible experiences across our SaaS platform, using React and modern JS/TS. Hybrid office-based role in Galway.

Qualifications

3+ years in UX Engineering, Front-End Development, or a related role.
Experience designing and building modern web applications.
Strong UX principles, IA, and visual design understanding.
Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity designs in Figma.
Strong React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript experience.
Experience with component-based design systems and accessible design.

Responsibilities

Design intuitive, user-centred experiences for web and mobile apps.
Collaborate with product, engineers, and stakeholders to translate needs into solutions.
Create journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity UI designs.
Build and maintain reusable front‑end components using modern JS frameworks.
Contribute to design system and component library maintenance.
