Job summary

Hamilton Insurance Group in Dublin is seeking an Underwriting Operations Analyst to support data capture across multiple classes of business. You will work under the Underwriting Operations Team leader in Ballsbridge, contributing to accurate data entry and timely processing for our Dublin entity and Lloyd’s Syndicate operations.

The role emphasizes data quality, SLA adherence, and collaboration with underwriting staff.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good numerical abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Outlook and Excel.
• Proven ability to work to deadlines and SLA’s.
• Accurately capture and process data.
• Team player but able to work towards individual targets.
• Motivated and self-starter.
• Previous experience of Eclipse is beneficial.
• Previous Lloyd’s of London experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Capture accurate and complete data in our underwriting system.
• Develop key knowledge to understand the differences between Slips for multiple lines of business.
• Process Underwriting documentation within predefined service level agreements (SLA’s).
• Query resolution within the team, or direct with Underwriting Assistants.
• Quality Assurance of data entry.
• Ad hoc project work.
• General Administrative duties.
• Act in accordance with all applicable supervisory bodies, principals, rules and regulations.
