Job summary

SYSTRA is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to join our on-site team for underground station design reviews and construction supervision in Ireland. You will coordinate with clients, contractors and designers to resolve design issues and ensure compliance with the Design Management Plan.

The role focuses on reviewing civil and structural underground works, preparing comments, and supporting site audits, MoMs, and weekly/monthly project reporting with a multinational team.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in underground structural design review.
• Experience in reviewing technical and construction documentation and supporting the resolution of site issues.
• Strong coordination and communication skills with clients, contractors, designers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the Civil and Trackwork Manager on underground station structures (design and construction).
• Coordinate the review of civil and structural design related to underground stations, including geotechnical aspects.
• Carry out design reviews, prepare Review Comment Sheets (RCS) and provide technical comments.
• Monitor and update RCS lists and follow up design package issuance to ensure on-time reviews.
• Coordinate with contractors, designers and clients to resolve design review issues and support issuance of SONO.
• Contribute to the Design Management Plan and monitor compliance with processes.
• Liaise with external ICE when required and support construction supervision activities.
