Job Title: Digital Enterprise Architect – Healthcare

The Opportunity

This is your chance to make a real impact in healthcare technology. As a Digital Enterprise Architect at EY, you’ll help shape the future of digital health systems in hospitals, health systems, and public health agencies. You’ll work with clinicians, ICT teams, vendors, and programme leads to design integrated, secure, and patient‑centric digital solutions. This role is at the heart of EY’s mission to build a better working world through technology‑enabled transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design digital health architectures across EHR, EPR, HIE, and integration platforms
• Define integration strategies using HL7 FHIR, HL7 v2/v3, IHE profiles, DICOM, and OpenEHR
• Guide clients on adopting data and terminology standards such as SNOMED CT, ICD-10, and LOINC
• Collaborate with stakeholders to map current and future‑state architecture
• Support integration architecture using tools like Rhapsody, Mirth Connect, and Enovacom
• Provide thought leadership on architecture blueprints, governance, DevOps, and cybersecurity

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and EPR/EHR systems
• Knowledge of interoperability standards and healthcare integration engines
• Familiarity with health terminology standards and cloud architectures
• Ability to manage multi‑stakeholder engagements
• Experience with architecture frameworks and tools

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards
• Experience with data governance and analytics frameworks
• Background in public health initiatives or population health systems
• Relevant certifications in HL7 FHIR, TOGAF, ITIL, PMP, or cloud/health IT
• Experience in Agile delivery, DevOps, and clinical transformation projects
