Job summary

Deer Park Golf in Dublin invites applications to join our dedicated greenkeeping team. We are upgrading machinery and aiming to be among the best maintained parkland courses. Two full-time, permanent Greenkeeper positions are available with immediate start.

You will work with the Course Superintendent and team on all aspects of course maintenance. A valid driver's licence, flexibility for weekends, and a collaborative approach are essential.

Qualifications

  • Full, valid driver’s licence.
  • Motivated with a positive attitude.
  • Team‑oriented and reliable.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends and holidays.
  • 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role is desirable.
  • Qualifications in Sportsturf Management, Agronomy or Horticulture are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop greens and turf to high standards.
  • Work closely with the Course Superintendent and greenkeeping team.
  • Support ongoing equipment upgrades and safety protocols.

Greenkeeper – Deer Park Golf

Deer Park Golf is delighted to invite applications to join our dedicated and professional greenkeeping team. Deer Park continues to invest heavily in course development and staff progression. Our clear ambition is to be recognised as one of the best‑maintained parkland golf courses in Dublin – and we are well on our way to achieving that goal.

We are currently recruiting two full‑time, permanent Greenkeeper positions with an immediate start available. The successful candidates will work closely with the Course Superintendent and the wider greenkeeping team, contributing to all aspects of course maintenance. This role requires a well‑rounded skill set and a strong team ethic. We offer a friendly and supportive working environment and are flexible regarding holidays and weekend work. Deer Park Golf is actively upgrading its machinery fleet.

Salary & Benefits
  • The successful candidate will earn a base salary at the higher end of the scale starting at €37,000 pa.

Ideal Candidate Attributes
  • Full, valid driver’s licence.
  • Highly motivated with a positive attitude.
  • Reliable, professional, and team‑oriented.
  • Willingness and flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and bank holidays when required (weekend overtime typically involves one weekend morning every 2–3 weeks).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ideally 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role (applications from newly qualified or experienced candidates are welcome).
  • Qualifications in Sportsturf Management, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field preferred.
  • Spraying qualifications (PA1, PA2, PA6) an advantage.
  • Chainsaw / pole saw certification an advantage.
  • Ability to follow direction and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
