Job summary

Carr Golf in Naas, Co. Kildare seeks a Greenkeeper/Groundsman to maintain our multi-leisure facility's turf, tees, greens, and surrounding areas. You will manage mowing, irrigation, equipment checks, and course setup to support high-quality playing surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Cut tees, greens, surrounds, fairways, rough, and semi-rough.
• Set up the golf course, including changing holes, moving tee markers, emptying bins, and clearing debris.
• Check machinery before use, refuel after use, and report issues to the Head Greenkeeper.
• Maintain high health and safety standards for self and others.
• Repair divots on playing surfaces.
• Hand-water and irrigate turf as needed.
• Identify and control weeds, pests, and turf diseases.
• Mark hazards, out-of-bounds, and ground under repair.
• Maintain and renovate bunkers and worn/damaged turf.
• Roll greens with a turf iron or similar equipment.
• Operate a tractor with various implements.
• Understand golf rules related to course maintenance.
• Maintain trees and shrubs on the course.
• Communicate effectively with team members and golfers.

Carr Golf is a market leading golf services company specialising in providing tailored business development solutions to client, leased and operated golf clubs to drive their businesses forward. We currently wish to recruit a Greenkeeper/Groundsman, for a new and exciting multi leisure facility based in Naas, Co. Kildare.

When fully operational our state of the art facility will feature a licensed cafe with outdoor seating, driving range, pitch and putt, floodlight football pitches and padel courts.

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Greenkeeper/Groundsman with a proven track record in golf course and/or leisure maintenance. The ideal candidate will be able to work on their own initiative, is ambitious, a team player, and is looking to further their career with Ireland's leading golf course management company.

This is a Full-Time Permanent Role.
