Job summary

Corrstown Golf Club, Corrstown, Swords, Co. Dublin, is seeking a Full-Time Greenkeeper to join our team and maintain tees, greens, surrounds and fairways to the highest standards. This role requires initiative, reliability and good communication with staff and players, with a focus on safety and presentation.

Prior golf course maintenance experience is preferred, with opportunities for training and development within Ireland's leading golf course management company.

Qualifications

• Previous experience desirable.
• Own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Cut tees, greens, surrounds, fairways, rough, and semi-rough.
• Set up the golf course, including changing holes and markers.
• Check machinery before use and report issues to supervisor.
• Maintain high health and safety standards for self and others.
• Repair divots and irrigate as needed.
• Operate tractors and other golf course equipment.
• Maintain bunkers and turf areas.
• Communicate effectively with team members and golfers.

We are looking for a Full-Time Greenkeeper to join the team at Corrstown Golf Club, Corrstown, Swords, Co. Dublin, K67 YH68

We are seeking a passionate Greenkeeper with a proven track record in golf course maintenance. The ideal candidate will be able to work on their own initiative, is ambitious, a team player, and is looking to further their career with Ireland's leading golf course management company.

This is a Full-Time Permanent Role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cut tees, greens, surrounds, fairways, rough, and semi-rough
• Set up the golf course, including changing holes, moving tee markers, emptying bins, and clearing debris
• Check machinery before use, refuel after use, and report issues to the Head Greenkeeper
• Maintain high health and safety standards for self and others
• Repair divots on playing surfaces
• Hand-water and irrigate turf as needed
• Identify and control weeds, pests, and turf diseases
• Mark hazards, out-of-bounds, and ground under repair
• Maintain and renovate bunkers and worn/damaged turf
• Roll greens with a turf iron or similar equipment
• Operate a tractor with various implements
• Understand golf rules related to course maintenance
• Maintain trees and shrubs on the course
• Communicate effectively with team members and golfers
