Job summary

Daffodil Care Services is recruiting Social/Residential Care Workers for our Aftercare services in Baldoyle, Co. Dublin.

Join a team delivering 24/7 support to vulnerable young adults aged 18–23, helping them move toward independent living with trauma-informed care and a strong value on advocacy. As a Social/Residential Care Worker you will work in a rotating shift pattern, including evenings, weekends and sleepovers, within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 7 qualification (degree) or above in one of the following fields.
• If you are eligible to register as a Social Care Worker with CORU.
• Experience with aftercare services and working with young adults aged 18–23.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualised interventions to young adults 18–23 to enable independent living.
• Work as a lone worker within a 24/7 service but as part of a team in a trauma-informed environment.
• Support and empower residents to identify goals and targets on their journey to independence.
• Adhere to safeguarding and crisis management practices and liaise with multidisciplinary teams.
