Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Transport Professional, supporting the planning and coordination of national and international transport operations. Day-to-day tasks include organizing vehicle schedules and routes, monitoring shipment progress, and ensuring timely, compliant delivery of temperature-controlled, dry freight, and containerized loads. The role involves communicating with drivers, customers, and partners, resolving transport-related issues, and maintaining accurate documentation for customs and regulatory compliance. The Transport Professional will also contribute to continuous improvement in service quality, assist with freight forwarding and project management activities, and collaborate with internal teams to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Transport planning and logistics coordination skills, including route scheduling, load planning, and fleet utilization.
• Knowledge of road transport regulations, customs procedures, and compliance requirements for international freight.
• Customer service and communication skills to liaise effectively with drivers, clients, and external partners.
• Organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage multiple shipments, priorities, and unexpected operational issues.
• Comfort with digital tools and transport management systems, as well as basic data entry and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently with strong time management and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in transport planning, logistics is highly beneficial; experience in temperature-controlled or containerized transport is an advantage.
