Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Cork is seeking a Transport Major Projects Manager with Chartered Engineer status to lead the planning and design of major transport schemes across Ireland. The role involves EIAR/CPO delivery, contract administration, and bid management within a busy transportation team.

The position offers flexible hybrid working from our Cork office, with opportunities for business development and client liaison across Ireland.

Qualifications

• Extensive relevant experience in a consultancy environment.
• Degree level (Level 8/9) and Chartered Engineer.
• Experience with NEC and Irish Public Works Contracts.
• Experience in planning and design of transport schemes in Ireland.
• Full Irish / EU driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Team building and leadership, mentoring staff, managing planning and design of transport projects throughout Ireland, delivering EIAR and CPO, and administering construction contracts.
• Involved in business development, including managing client relationships, gathering market intelligence and leading bid proposals for major transport projects.
