Job summary

WSP in Ireland is seeking a senior leader to drive growth across the Energy markets, strengthen client engagement, and shape delivery across Transmission & Distribution projects. You will collaborate with the Ireland leadership to develop local capability and grow our presence in the energy sector.

You will represent the firm in industry forums, guide engineering talent, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact projects for Irish clients.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in Energy engineering projects.
• Proven ability to engage with clients and build trusted relationships.
• Strong knowledge of energy sector policy and regulatory environment.

A little more about your role…

Provide senior leadership across Ireland Energy markets, strengthen presence, build client relationships, support delivery and engagement, represent in forums, and develop local capability. Support the T&D growth lead and the Ireland Energy lead to ensure a #onewsp approach initially targeting our Ireland Transmission & Distribution Clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Senior leadership and client engagement.
• Strengthen market presence for the Energy Business Unit in Ireland .
• Build trusted client relationships.
• Support and lead project delivery and engagement.
• Representing WSP in relevant T&D and Offshore Engineering industry forums.
• Develop Engineering talent and capability in Ireland.

Key Interfaces:

• Work closely with Ireland Senior lead across other business Units, including (but not limited to) Planning and Consenting, PMCM, Earth and Environment as well as relevant client account teams.
• Interfacing with the Energy teams in Ireland across Networks, Low Carbon, Renewable Power and Asset Management Teams from Energy BU.

Requirements:

• Degree qualified.
• Chartered status.
• Experience leading Energy Engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of sector and policy environment.
