Job summary

WSP is expanding its Energy business in Ireland and seeks a Technical Lead - Engineering Design Manager to oversee HV/MV infrastructure design, bid leadership, and project delivery from Dublin, Naas or Belfast offices.

You will manage cross-disciplinary teams, coordinate inputs from multiple engineering disciplines, and ensure compliance with standards and client specifications across the full project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered Engineer or working towards chartered status.
• Experience in HV and MV electrical design for Ireland's Transmission System.
• Experience managing Owners Engineer/construction monitoring/supervision roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams across HV/MV infrastructure.
• Establish and lead a design team for HV/MV projects.
• Oversee design management, resource planning, and deployment across FEED and detailed design.
