Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Senior Analyst in Transfer Agency to oversee end-to-end rebates and commissions processing, QA checks, and regulatory compliance. The role requires coordinating with Indian teams and global stakeholders to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and service quality across multiple jurisdictions.

The successful candidate will have strong numerical skills, proficiency in Excel, and experience with multi-currency operations within a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Excel and internal platforms.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, QA, and process regular client rebate payments within deadlines.
• Prepare, review, and initiate reinvestment rebate transactions.
• Ensure cash and fund movements are accurate and timely.
• Calculate, prepare, and QA initial and renewal commission payments.
• Set up rebates on core rebate systems (FRA and MFTA).
• Liaise with clients and brokers to resolve queries within service levels.
• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reporting.
• Support Total Quality Management initiatives.
• Provide oversight to India-based teams to ensure processing quality.
• Collaborate on client initiatives and projects with Managers.
