Job summary

The European Investment Bank (EIB) seeks an Associate Transaction Processing & Digital Transformation Officer in Luxembourg to strengthen the back office. You will combine financial operations expertise with data analysis and emerging technologies to streamline settlements, enhance risk controls and drive intelligent automation across the unit.

You will collaborate with Front Office, Risk, Legal, IT and Data teams to implement new tools, dashboards and process improvements in a high-volume

Qualifications

University degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Execute end-to-end processing of Borrowings, Treasury and Derivatives transactions.
Ensure timely confirmations, settlements and lifecycle event management.
Perform controls to reduce operational, financial and reputational risk.
Monitor and resolve breaks, settlement failures or discrepancies in a timely manner.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of control frameworks, particularly in increasingly automated environments.
Analyse operational data to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs to monitor performance and risk.
Increase straight-through processing and reduce manual intervention through data-driven insights.
Contribute to automation initiatives and AI solutions in back-office processes.
Support integration of DLT-based settlement models into existing processes.
